All set up for a few days in Delamere, camping with Kate and Dan. Will be a little different this time because Dan has a broken arm so the originally planned cycling, wakeboarding and other stuff is on hold. Nevertheless, we’re away and enjoying glorious weather and family time.

It’s been quite a year with this half-term being the first one where we are away together. Working in different Local Authorities means we have a few weeks where we can’t go away together; that makes this one all the more valuable. Dan is set to barbecue for us, continuing his love of cooking.

Looking forward to a week of relaxing, running and some other family bits. As mentioned, the usual activities are on hold with less risky ones planned. We will play a bit of table tennis but also visit Chester zoo and I’ve a tour of the new Everton stadium at Brantley Moore Dock. After that it’s seven weeks left before the summer break and a new adventure at a school in Nuneaton. Very excited about that one and the chance to properly lead and make a positive impact on the life’s of the children and staff.
