Day 7 of no school for the masses. It really is strange how you can be busy whilst not being busy. You can spend the day doing so much but seemingly so little. It is only day seven!
Staff in various key worker roles continue to rise to the challenge. They turn up and deliver; smile, professional and polite whilst behind their eyes an unknown reality. So many working hard with sleeve rolled up and completing tasks, fearful maybe that they increase the risk of themselves becoming ill. Such times require, in my opinion, one to be humble, respectful and empathetic towards others. Really such times should make this a requirement or even realised. Such times should enlightened and remind us that living a consistently humble and respectful life is right.

In the past week I’ve mastered the are of Zoom, Google Hangouts and Team. I’ve not mastered making a coffee. Note to self: turn the mug the right way before starting the machine.
In the next week, I’m going to master something else. I don’t know what yet, but I’m going to. Maybe it will be putting calls on hold and transferring them without cutting the caller off. Not because I want to or the caller deserves it; they don’t.
What will you master? Go learn something and enjoy it. Take care and be safe.
