Campervan trip / Days Off / School Holidays

It’s Summer – Day 22

The last full day in the campervan, beneath the Malvern Hills. Great times with the family and enjoying the walks and rides. I had planned to run everyday but have only been once. We have done something everyday though, be it walking or cycling.

Today we visited Croome Park, a National Trust site. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with gorgeous walks around the lake, over bridges and through the fields. Another gorgeously beautiful day allowed us to sit by the lake and watch the ducks glide in, the fish jump to catch flies and the dragonflies to hover and whizz about. It’s amazing how many of similarly great estates exist across the country that we are yet to explore.

Such grounds are really a privilege to visit and should be done by more.

Dan went back to playing with new friends when back on site. It’s good that children can make friends so easily and enjoy games outdoors beyond sunset. A few games of Yahtzee later, during which Kate scored three Yahtzees in one game, Dan then came to play before a game.

Another good day with perfect weather.
